What to do in the Turkish bath?
Entering a Turkish bath, also known as a hammam, is an incredibly relaxing and invigorating experience. After putting on your swimsuit, the first step is to relax in the warm room known as the sauna. This is where you can get used to the heat and start sweating out toxins from your body.
After spending some time in the sauna room, the next step will be to move to the hot marble, where you will receive a powerful scrub and foam massage. The therapist will use a special exfoliating glove called a "kese" to remove dead skin cells, leaving your skin feeling incredibly soft and smooth.
After scrubbing, your muscles will relax with a wonderful foam massage and you will be clean.
Don't forget to drink plenty of water before and after your bathing experience to prevent dehydration. Take your time, enjoy the peaceful environment and do not forget to embrace the centuries-old Turkish bath tradition.
